Hope all are well. This week....I don't know. The scale isn't moving at all. Spent the day in Toledo today. I did walk when I got home. I'm trying. Wife traveling next week, and I hate to cook for one, so I need to bear down. Go Tribe! Looking forward to Sundays paper.

Monday 28th

Good to see some of you last Sat. Weather is turning! Indians home opener always a welcome sign! Had a Fillet Mignon at Hellreigals on Sat. night, plus a few drinks. Wedding Anniv. dinner with family. Very nice time was had. Had a physical this morning, for a job I am trying to get. Everything was great! Back on track today. Walking and riding the bike. Next Sundays paper should be "interesting". Lots of friends and family looking forward to the update. Saw the Slimandfit crew on Channel 3 this morning. Hope all are well, and happy. BigJim

Thurs. 24th entry

Hope all of us are well. I am pretty close to where I want to be. Family is proud of me...I think. Having my weight loss listed in the paper is great motivation! Might not try as hard if it wasn't public knowledge. Counting calories, walking, and riding the bike. I know I could do much better, but I am doing okay. My goals are not "lofty"!  As long as I weigh less than 300 pounds when this contest is all said and done, I will consider myself,(as Charlie Sheen says) a winner! It's nice when I see someone who I haven't seen for a few months, tell me that I look thinner. Good luck to all....and I hope we all tie for 1st! Long way to go.

Sat. night 19th

Super Moon tonight! Kind of hit a flat spot this week. Next week worries me also, as it's my wife's birthday, and our 29th wedding anniversary. I seem to be eating out more, and that makes it harder for me to watch things. I am walking a little more, but scale not moving. Hope all are well, and happy. BigJim    Come on Spring!

Not much is new. Trying to hang in there. Seem to be eating out a little more. Harder to watch what I eat. Still walking every night. Old friend wanted to go to the bar for "a few" and I said no. If I drink, my blood sugar goes haywire, and I lose my willpower. Wife's birthday Monday. Probably cook on the grill. Hope all are well, and happy. See you all at the end of the month.

Friday Night 11th entry

Tired of winter! Got my workout today shoveling and blowing snow. Pulled my back out. Thanks to whoever invented Aleve!  Anyway, I'm still doing what I need to do. Blood sugar gets too low once in awhile however. 1200 calories a day. Went to Seneca NY casino Thursday, and did real well! Walked a lot that day. All in all, I'm doing much better than I thought I would. Hope all are well. Long way to go...but I'll get there. Less than 300 the goal.

Sunday afternoon 6th

Doing ok. Have moments of thinking of food, especially late night, but I am fighting it. Walking a little more and more. Weather sucks however. Can't wait till spring. Still counting calories. I am ahead of where I thought I would be, so I am happy. Wife's birthday, son's birthday, and my 29th wedding anniversary this month. Have to be careful on the diet! Had 2 Low-Carb beers the other day. Man, did that taste good! Rode a little extra on the bike that day! 1st week of April will be hard, as my wife is flying out to SanFran to see a good friend. I am staying home with the dogs and cat. I hate cooking for one. Keep up the good fight!

March 1st reporting in

Yesterday, my basement had 2 feet of water due to flooding. Worked on that all day. Today, much to do, but tired. Grandkids last basketball game this afternoon. Took my wife out to lunch at Manhattan Deli. Had a corned beef craving. Skipped breakfast, and will have a light late dinner to make up for it. Trying to walk farther each night, but back and hip problems kick in. My own fault. Looking forward to spring and summer. Getting under 300 will take time, and concentration! Hope all are doing well, hanging in there, and getting closer to their goal.
